Dr. Gladson Nwanna is a tenured, full professor of Accounting and Finance at Morgan State University where he had also served as Chairperson of the Department of Accounting & Finance. Dr. Nwanna has been engaged in teaching and research for over 35 years. He has also worked as a Consultant to the World Bank on Development Finance related issues. Dr. Nwanna is a director of Stein Academy Inc., the Stein Group Inc. and Sinnai Behavioral Health Inc.
Dr. Nwanna holds the following degrees, a Ph.D. Economics from Fordham University, Bronx New York (1980-1984); an MBA, in Finance from St. John’s University, Staten Island, New York (1979-1980), a BA in Accounting from Rutgers State University, Newark, NJ., (1978-1979) Accounting and an A.S., & A.A degree in Accounting & Liberal Arts from Essex County College, Newark, New Jersey (1977-1978). He also holds a Professional in Banking Certificate from the American Institute of Banking New York, New York May l985.
Dr. Nwanna has published over 30 refereed research articles largely in the fields of Economics, Finance and Development in National and International Academic Journals. He has also written and edited several books.
Dr. Nwanna has received the following academic awards/memberships: Who is Who in American Junior Colleges; Alpha Epsilon Beta (Undergraduate Honors in Business Administration); Beta Gamma Sigma (Graduate Honors in Business Administration) and Omicron Delta Epsilon (Graduate Honors in Economics).
